Happy Belated New Year.

Lots of things coming down the pipe for 2010. Currently working on an installation with Okay Mountain at Texas State University in San Marcos, TX. The installation will be on display January 21st – February 26th. More info about the gallery space here. There’s also an opening at Okay Mountain this Saturday. Christine’s work is really awesome and if you’re close to Austin you should make a point to see it in person.

Roger Skateboards will be attending the Crossroads Trade Show this year. Maybe I’ll see you there? We’re also in the process of totally redesigning the Roger site. Should be done really soon.

I’m about to start working on a new video project for Volcom with my buddy Mike Aho. More on that later.

I also just ran to the store and bought some cat food.

As always, thanks for checking the site and thanks for any positive thoughts.

Well hello there. Okay Mountain was awarded the Pulse Prize for our Corner Store installation at the PULSE art fair this year. Needless to say we’re completely thrilled. Here’s a really nice review of the show that our buddy Dan Boehl wrote for Might Be Good.

In other news, I just added a bunch of original paintings to the Gift Store this morning. Happy Saturday everybody.

Okay Mountain will be exhibiting a new site specific installation at the Pulse Art Fair in Miami. Thanks Arthouse.

Ye Olde Gift Shoppe

I just added the Never Stop Rowing prints to the gift shop as well as the Never Stop Rowing zine. Plus, I heard the economy is all fixed so buy away.

Never Stop Rowing Print – this weekend I’m releasing a new print (2 colorways – each a 12” x 12” – 2 color print edition of 50) during the East Austin Studio Tour. I’ll be down at Okay Mountain Studios (not to be confused with the gallery space) from 10-5 on Saturday and most of the day Sunday. In addition I’ll have a new zine available which is also titled Never Stop Rowing. The zine is 24 pages black and white with a 2 color silk screened cover signed edition of 200. Okay Mountain Studios is located at 1619 East Cesar Chavez Street. It’s about a block east of Okay Mountain on the opposite side of Cesar Chavez. My studio space is in the back right of the building. The prints and zine will be available on the site on Monday unless they miraculously sell out. Okay Mountain Studios is number 21 on the studio tour.

For you LA area folks – Blood Is The New Black is having a 5 Year Anniversary Art Show at the Junc Gallery. The opening is this Saturday (Nov 7th) from 7-11PM. If you go, tell Travis and Mel I said hi.

For you Austin area folks – booksmart opens this Saturday night at Okay Mountain.

I recently donated some prints to the Juxtapoz 15th Anniversary Art Auction. All proceeds from the auction go to support the Power House Project of Detroit. Click here if you’re interested in bidding on my prints. Click here if you’re interested in browsing the rest of the artwork. There’s some great stuff in there.

If you’re in or near Austin you should swing by the Art Palace Gallery anytime between now and December 5th to check out the current show. I’m not just saying that because I’m in it. I’m saying that because my friends are in it. (Art Palace is open Wednesday evenings 7-9 and Saturdays noon-5.)

Concreto 2 opens this Wednesday in Mexico City. For real.

I’m working on a new zine and print for the Gift Shop right now. Just in time for Thanksgiving. Have a good week everybody. Say something nice to somebody.

Here’s a flyer I designed yesterday for my buddy Will Rhoten (DJ Sober) who lives in Dallas, TX. It’s for a Halloween Party. For people who like to party.

This box of Roger coozies (koozies?) was just delivered to my doorstep. If you want one, try to convince your local skate shop to order some. If you don’t have a local skate shop then just try to convince yourself that you don’t want one.

Bay Area News: I’m in a group show opening at Needles & Pens this Saturday. The show is titled ‘If, Then Maybe…’ The other dudes in the show are Tim Kerr (curator), Russ Pope, and Matthew Rodriguez. I won’t be in attendance but I’ll be there in spirit. (I’m sending a ghost.)

I have a newish photo blog over at fecalface.com. It celebrates and examines events occurring throughout Summer 2009. Is 3 tweets good?
