Water, Water Everywhere, So Let’s All Take A Drink opens tomorrow at the Austin Museum of Art. We’ll be doing an informal talk on Thursday September 23rd at 7pm.

All of the work from the Look Alive show at Double Punch is available on their website. Deth P. Sun has some really nice and affordable small pieces up there. I like his work.
The Benefit Plate show at Freight + Volume went really well. We have documentation of the show up on the OKMTN Collective site now. The show was recommended by the Village Voice which pretty much stoked us out to the max. Many thanks to Nick and Kevin at Freight + Volume for facilitating the show. And many thanks to Wallace Shawn for showing up to the opening. Couldn’t ask for a cooler celebrity to be in attendance.
Two shows on the horizon that I’d like to mention.
1. Okay Mountain Benefit Plate at Freight + Volume in NYC. This is a collaborative show put together by all of the members of Okay Mountain. Here’s the press release. The show opens next Thursday (July 29th) from 6-8pm at 542 West 24th Street NY, NY.
2. I’m in a group show in SF at Double Punch that opens on Saturday August 7th 7pm till Late. I just finished some new paintings that will be in the show. After the show opens I’ll post them up on the Fine Arts section of the site.
…please be patient. Or please thanks for your patience. Not a whole lot going on with the site as of late. Good stuff in the works though. Not sleeping, just working. Art shows, art projects, art dances, art haircuts. It’s all coming down the pipeline…

I had pretty much completely forgotten that I had been asked by Uncommon to submit art for their iPhone (etc.) coverings. That is until I got my first notification today concerning my royalties. So far I’ve made zero dollars. Which I’m guessing means not even 1 person has ordered one. Maybe nobody knows that they’re available? Or maybe nobody that likes my art can afford an iPhone? Hard to say. Anyway… if you’re interested.
