Blood is the New Black is a rad t-shirt company in LA that I work with. You can read the about page on their site to see why I think they’re awesome. As a freelance artist it’s refreshing to work with a company that literally tells you to do whatever you feel like doing. They also have the softest t-shirts anywhere. Well, at least the softest t-shirts in my t-shirt drawer.

New print for the Gift Shop in production…

I was recently asked to design a mural for the Michael Raetzsch Memorial Skatepark at the Seguin Activity Center. I grew up in Seguin and I was honored to be able to contribute to the community and to be able to share my work with the younger skateboarding generation. An old high school friend of mine, Aesop Cardenas, handled the execution of the mural painting. Thanks Aesop. I’d also like to thank Beth Raetzsch for her countless hours helping the kids at the park and organizing events to engage the youth. You’re doing excellent work, Beth. The kids will remember these things forever.

Mural dimensions: 8’ x 20’ (for people who are curious)

Happy Halloween everybody.

A special Halloween episode of The Internet Shack premiers Monday on thrashermagazine.com

Here’s a brand new tour video for my skateboard company. (You don’t have to skate to appreciate it.)

I recently worked on a handful of illustrations (including the TX Ganesha above) for Guru Khalsa’s interview in the new issue of Thrasher Magazine. Stoked to see a Texas skateboarder avoid the Texas curse.

I’m also working on 2 new prints which will be available on the site within the month.

As always, thanks for checking out my internet home even though it’s been pretty sleepy lately. I’ll try to do something about that.

Austin American Statesman – Okay Mountain Article

Another big thanks to Jeanne Claire van Ryzen for always supporting our efforts at Okay Mountain. Jeanne Claire has been talking to us and writing about us since the Camp Fig days and we are extremely appreciative of her interest and good words.

More love from the Austin Chronicle.

A big thanks to Robert Faires at the Chronicle for not only interviewing us, but allowing us to design the cover of the paper. The cover is a montage of video stills from the Water, Water Everywhere, So Let’s All Take A Drink show that’s currently up at the Austin Museum of Art.

Have a good weekend, the internet.

I wanted to say thanks to all of the people who voted for Okay Mountain in the Austin Chronicle’s Best of Austin poll. So, thanks everybody. It’s greatly appreciated.
